At Northern States Metals the latest Measuring Devices, including the ultimate Precision Video Measuring Machine, (click to view) Microvu M321 Matrix, are used to assure front-end dimensional control of dies, tooling, and product.
Regular mechanical and metallographic tests are made to ensure alloys comply exactly with customer's specifications. Optional non-destructive testing, including ultrasonic testing are available.
Besides statistical sampling, machine capability studies and SPC charting, TQM at NSM places emphasis on all personnel being quality conscious from sales to final shipment.
Dedicated to SPC every aspect of business from order solicitation through quotation, order entry, fabrication, packaging, and shipment is governed by Statistical Process Control (SPC). Service, Quality, and the all-important SPC are not "just words" to the NSM employee/management team. |
